Sa Talaia (The Watchtower) the highest point on the island (1,558 feet) affords visitors a panoramic view of the southern part of the island and, on a clear day, the Spanish mainland. Anticipate a strenuous two-hour hike but the breathtaking view makes it worth it.

Hippie Market turns up every Wednesday in summer at the Punta Arabí right outside Es Canar. It is an outlet for local craftspeople, and you can find everything from clothing, jewelry, glassware and leather, to sand pictures, fake Rolexes and pottery.

Ca na Costa dating from about 2,000 BC was discovered in 1978 and is still being excavated. It is on the island of Formentera an hour from Ibiza by ferry. The remains of six Stone Age people were discovered and the men were almost 7 feet tall.

Dalt Vila or upper part of Old Town Car Hire Ibiza has its entrance still guarded by two headless Roman statues. Construction started with the Carthaginians, then the Arabs, and finally the Romans; the walls and the fortifications are now some of the best-preserved in Europe behind which are magnificent old buildings, museums and even working offices. At night, Dalt Vila is one of the hottest spots in town with bars and shops that remain open very late in summer.

Obelisco a los Corsarios (Monument al Corsaris) is located on a traffic circle in the harbor of Eiviss; a monument to privateers. Privateers were commissioned by the king of Spain starting in 17th century to plunder other countries’ pirate ships and give a fifth of the bounty to the crown and keep the remainder, a practice outlawed in 1908.
Holiday Shuttle Service The best airport shuttle service in town.
Car rental services in Ibiza are available from Europcar, National, Centauro, Avis and Hiper.

Ibiza is a well known traditional town in Spain located at the Balearic Islands. Because of its wonderful countryside, astonishing beaches and fine sands, coves and towering cliffs and with some of the best night clubs of the world, the island is growing as one of the top tourist destinations in Spain.

Pleasant climate can be seen in the island with sunny days and clear sky during the summer, but sometimes the weather condition will become warm to hot. Winters are cool and wet and rainfall can also be seen during the winter months. Light jackets and cottons are preferable during summer and t-shirts and shorts will suit the beach wear. Warm and woolen jerseys and jackets are suitable for both rainy and winter seasons.

The main attractions of the town are the several caves and tombs like the Caves Can Marca – Puerto San Miguel, The Es Cuieram Cave and the Puig des Molins Nekropolis which cosists of many treasures that are unearthed in the caves. The other sightseeing places include Pirate Towers, Ponyland, Churches, beaches and windmills and sunsets.

Not only the sightseeing, adventure lovers can also find a plenty of activities to do and experience to the fullest like water sports, sailing, diving, wind surfing, rock climbing, go karting, and safaris and even boat rides and horse riding.

Ibiza is popular with its riotous nightlife with many top DJ’s coming to the island and playing at various pubs and clubs. The clubbers have typical plans like waking at noon, early evening naps, late night clubbing, and disco sunrises. Because of its vibrant nightlife, Cheap Car Rental Ibiza has even got the reputation as a “Party Island” during 1990s and has also been recorded in the Guinness Book of world Records as the “Entertainment Island of the World.”

Most of the sights in Ibiza are close and within walking distance of one another, making it easy to travel around the city. Plenty of taxis, excellent bus networks and several local trains are available connecting all the parts of the city.

Travelling through flights is obviously the quick way to reach the place and the Ibiza Airport stands as one of the busiest airports of Spain. Car rental is also a preferable option to choose which is not only quick and flexible but also comfortable.
